At Invesco, Soon will work with Invesco's Asia-Pacific client base and support Invesco's global real estate securities effort. Soon's experience includes property development, acquisition and refurbishment in Hong Kong, Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and Indonesia.
Most notably, Soon secured the first land use right agreement granted to a foreign joint venture to develop local housing in Shanghai. Two of his projects there were recognized by a joint committee of the Shanghai City Housing Development Bureau, the Shanghai City Construction Committee and the Shanghai City Planning Bureau as top 10 property projects in Shanghai.
