AMSTERDAM- Locally headquartered retail and foodservice operator Ahold has completed the sale of three shopping centers for $131.52 million (euro 108 million). The buyer was a fund managed by ING Real Estate.

The shopping centers are located in the Poland cities of Bielsko Biala and Elblag, and in the Czech Republic city of Karviná. The size and occupancy of the centers was not immediately available. Ahold and ING Real Estate announced the transaction in December.

Ahold Central Europe, which developed the centers, will continue to operate its Hypernova hypermarket in Centrum Karviná. Ahold's hypermarket operations in the Polish Centers were divested in February 2005.
