The resort features an onsite 18-hole golf course with a club house, three restaurants, four bars, eight swimming pools, a children's activity club, a fitness center, spa services, boutique shopping, and nightly entertainment. The resort also has meeting rooms for groups of up to 1,200 people.
Barcelo Hotels and Resorts is a family owned, privately held hospitality company that owns, manages or franchises hotels in 14 countries with more than 30,000 rooms worldwide. Karmina Palace Hotel is Barcelo's 10th in Mexico. A company official was not immediately available Friday for comment.
