Last year's record-breaking attendance of more than 650 industry leaders in all sectors will be matched or exceeded this year, according to Richard Kelley, conference sales director. RealShare Philadelphia is produced by Real Estate Media, publisher of Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt.com, and other print and web-based industry publications. The firm is headed by Jonathan A. Schein, president and CEO, who will deliver a welcome message at the conference.

Temple University economist William Dunkelberg joins Nutter in kicking off the event. He'll provide a perspective on the national and local economies and what they mean to real estate activity here in the coming year. Subsequent panels will explore what gaming will bring to the market, discuss ongoing efforts to expand in the life science sectors, and shed light on the impact tax abatements really have on new and converted residential development. Other panels will take an informed look at rising retail and industrial activity.

This year, Michael G. Desiato, editor-in-chief of Real Estate Forum, puts Michael O'Neill, chairman and CEO of Preferred Real Estate Investments Inc., in the hot seat during the program's "Inside the Real Estate Mind" feature. And a new feature, Philadelphia Undercover, focuses on important players that operate beneath the radar screen. Attendees will discover potential opportunities among these developers who often avoid the limelight.
