Cyrus Sharp and Marco Lainez are the firm's newly named managing directors for the Southeast. Sharp will work out of the Atlanta office; Lainez will do business at the firm's New York headquarters. The pair has over 25 years of real estate finance experience.
Sharp headed CIBC's Atlanta production office for seven years before joining IXIS. Lainez spent five years at CIBC--three years in Atlanta and two years in New York.
"Their first-hand knowledge of the region's markets and strong local relationships will have an immediate positive impact on the growth trajectory of our platform," Scott Zucker, managing director and head of origination at IXIS Real Estate Capital, says in a prepared statement.
