The aggregate value of the lease is undisclosed. Taylor Young, vice president of the Conshohocken-based Beacon Commercial Real Estate, tells GlobeSt.com the asking rental rate in the building is $21.50 per sf. Young represented Marsh Creek V LP, the building owner. Brian Edmonds and Jonathan Mitchell of the Philadelphia-based Key Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.
Comcast will employ more than 50 people at this location when the lease begins in the third quarter of this year. Comcast is headquartered in Philadelphia, and Malvern-based Liberty Property Trust is currently developing Comcast Center, a 57-story, 1.2-million-sf corporate headquarters for the firm in Center City.
