ASHA's 225 employees, currently working at the 79,000-sf head office in Rockville and at a separate research building, will relocate to the new campus. ASHA's new home will sit on a seven-acre parcel just off Interstate 270 at the intersection of Gude Drive and Research Boulevard, about eight miles from its current locale at 10801 Rockville Pike.
Boggs & Partners is behind the design of the five-story structure, which will be a LEED-certified property. ASHA plans to occupy four floors and lease out the top floor. The building is on target to reach completion in October 2007.
