RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO-Advertising firm Momentum consolidated its operations with the signing of a 58,000-sf lease at Clayton Executive Center, which is located at 7930 Clayton Rd.

The company, which is currently located in three buildings throughout the city, will move its 275 employees to the building by the end of the year. The space also contains room for future growth. Momentum is a subsidiary of Interpublic Group of Cos. The company has offices throughout the word, including North America, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia.

Senior managing director Henry Kobrin, a member of Newmark Knight Frank's strategic consulting group, tells GlobeSt.com that the company has been working with Momentum since the first quarter of 2005 to find space, which is typical for a lease transaction of this size. "We completed a thorough exploration of the market," says Kobrin. "After considering a number of available properties, we focused on Clayton Executive Center and moved towards finalizing a lease."

Kobrin said Momentum chose the space because it was centrally located for its employees and clients. The space was also attractive because Momentum will be the major occupant in the building, which contains about 100,000 sf. "They had an opportunity to create their own environment with signage on the building. Plus, it was an attractive economic deal."
