The deal, which is expected to close in September, comes close to ending the high-tech company's presence in Boston. The firm moved its corporate headquarters to Chelmsford earlier this year in a consolidation that also put another Teradyne building at 179 Lincoln St. in Boston on the market. Millennium Partners won the bidding for that 240,000-sf Financial District office property with a $2.4-million offer.
A source familiar with the sale of Teradyne's headquarters at 321 Harrison Ave. says Burlington-based Nordic plans to market the property to commercial, medical or academic users. A 150-space parking lot at 275 Albany St., also owned by Teradyne and located around the corner from the Harrison Avenue building, is also on the market.
