NEW YORK CITY-The building at 485 Lexington Ave. added a tenant to its stable of companies, signing Omnicon Group to a 13,827-sf lease expansion. This transaction completes more than 640,000 sf of leasing since SL Green began a redevelopment of the buildings.

Located on Lexington between 46th and 47th streets steps from Grand Central Terminal, the 32-story building contains 926,122 sf of leasable space. The redevelopment of 485 Lexington Ave. by Green included replacement of 4,000 windows, upgrading of electric and HVAC capacities, new lobby and new storefronts and re-branding program. Other building tenants include Citigroup, St. Paul Travelers, and Fairchild Publications.

The additional space leased by Omnicom Group brings its total lease commitment within the 1956-built building to 68,000 sf. Lee Feld of WF Realty represented the tenant in the transaction.
