ATLANTA-With the $2.9-million acquisition of 2.7 acres of land in the Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee golf community, locally based developers Capstone Partners Inc. plans to begin construction of Sojourn, a 37-unit condominium development.

Ackerman & Co. vice president of brokerage Chitra Subbarayan and senior vice president of brokerage Kevin Hermetz brokered the sale of the land. Sojourn, a three-building condominium project on Lake Oconee along the Golf Club at Cuscowilla, will be Capstone Partners' first resort home project. Two-bedroom units will have 1,500 sf and three-bedroom units will have 1,800 sf. Prices will range from $400,000s to $700,000. The project is expected to be completed in April 2007.

"Our project will raise the bar for lakefront living on Lake Oconee, and will complement the exclusive features and homes of the Cuscowilla community," says Curtis Peart, of Capstone Partners. "And our site will have some of the most idyllic views of Lake Oconee."

In addition to Sojourn, Capstone is developing 50 single-family homes in the area including Tributary at New Manchester, Glenwood Park and Serenbe in Palmetto.
