During his 30 years in the commercial real estate field, Langhorne has developed a broad range of skills including distressed and viable project and business resolution, asset and real property management, construction and financial reporting services. He also has experience with asset disposition, ad valorem tax appeal, due diligence, litigation management, litigation support and litigation consulting. "Richard's background and experience will be a perfect complement to our existing brokerage, valuation and asset services professionals and provide our clients greater resources to make informed real estate decisions," Gomez says.
Langhorne has served on the executive committee of the Urban Land Institute District Council and on the board of directors of the Counselors of Real Estate. He is the immediate past chairman of the Counselors of Real Estate South Florida and Caribbean Regional Council, as well as the past president of Lambda Alpha International for South Florida. He is a Hoyt fellow of the Homer Hoyt Institute for Advanced Studies in Real Estate and is qualified as a Chapter 11 trustee in Florida and as a state court appointed receiver. He holds the CRE designation from the Counselors of Real Estate and is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
