LOS ANGELES-AIR Commercial Real Estate Association has negotiated a deal with Cellit LLC to provide instant mobile access to property data for each of the 8000 industrial properties in the association's multiple listing system. According to Timothy Hayes, executive director of AIR, the service will provide information, such as price, square footage and electrical capacity of properties via text messages. Cellit plans to work with AIR to develop additional mobile tools in the coming months, according to David Wachs, president of Cellit. The new instant mobile access service will be free to AIR members. AIR, with 1,650 members, represents more than 350 firms. The organization provides standard industrial and commercial lease forms and purchase order forms for industrial and office real estate; it operates a multiple listing service called e-multiple for the cooperative marketing of industrial and office properties.
