NEWARK-Global Peace Financial Partners, based here, is raising a$250-million real estate private equity fund. Global Peace RealEstate Private Equity Fund 1 LLC will make direct investments inreal estate projects in New Jersey, and in real estate securitiessuch as revenue bonds and project bonds, according to managingdirector Jose Hernandez.
"The fund is unique because it provides investors with aprincipal protection guarantee," Hernandez says. "There are layersof protection built into the fund to protect our investors from thepossibility of a loss."
