ATLANTA-Locally based developers the Dawson Co. and the Lane Co. have begun construction on eon at Lindbergh, a $70-million, 352-unit condominium project. The development is rising in the 47-acre Lindbergh City Center.

Situated between Buckhead and Midtown, the project will feature one- and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 700 sf to 1,100 sf. A sales center with a full-size model condominium will open on Main Street in Lindbergh City Center on Nov. 1. Prices for the units will start in the $180,000s. Locally based Evolv will handle the sales and marketing for the project. The Dawson Co. executive vice president Jerome Hagley tells GlobeSt.com that construction is expected to last approximately two years.

The units will be EarthCraft House certified, which means they are designed to reduce utility bills and increase protection for the environment. EarthCraft House is the environmentally friendly building program of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association that helps consumers lower maintenance and operational costs and improve air quality by using products that don't give off noxious emissions, as well as providing tighter seals to reduce mildew problems.
