ATLANTA-Roswell-based MetroGroup Development LLC is building 16 CVS/pharmacy stores throughout Georgia. Eight stores are currently under construction with another eight planned for completion between 2007 and 2008.
The stores currently under construction are at Forsyth Street and Mayo Street in Americus, at Georgia Highway 166 and Maple Street in Carrollton, at Girard Avenue and Main Street in Cedartown, at Georgia Highway 20 and Sawnee Drive in Cumming, at Newnan Crossing and Lower Fayetteville Road in Newnan, at Mundy Mill & McEver Road and Martin Road and Winder Highway in Oakwood, and at Georgia Highway 48 and Rome Boulevard in Summerville.
Eight additional stores will begin construction in the next two to 12 months. They will be located in Atlanta, Braselton, Canton, Cumming, Dallas, Forsyth, Ringgold and Union City.
As the preferred developer for CVS/pharmacy since 1995, MetroGroup has completed almost 60 CVS/pharmacy stores throughout Georgia and Florida. The company works with CVS/pharmacy to determine market strategies and identify locations for stores. "It's our job to identify the best market opportunities, where growth and success intersect," says MetroGroup Development partner Mark Gottlieb.
