The Center West building ownership was represented by Peter Best of Jones Lang LaSalle and Mark McCaslin of the McCaslin Co. Merrill Lynch, which occupies the entire 19th floor and a portion of the 20th floor of the 23-story office building, was represented by Joe and Fawn Bellavia of Beitler Commercial.

Merrill Lynch has occupied space in the Center West building for more than 10 years and is one of a number of financial services firms in the office tower. The others include Chase Securities, UBS, Wells Fargo Securities, the Gores Group, Ridgestone Corp. and Aurora Capital Partners, notes Best.

The Center West tower, the tallest building in Westwood Village, was designed by architect Romaldo Giurgola of Mitchell/Giurgola Architects in 1990. The ground floor is anchored by Northern Trust Bank and the Palamino restaurant.
