Carr joins GlobeSt.com from Illinois Real Estate Journal and Midwest Real Estate News, where he covered the Midwest markets. Prior to that, he was the Detroit writer for GlobeSt.com.

Carr previously worked as a reporter and editor for weekly and daily newspapers. He also serves as the public affairs officer for the Navy Office of Community Outreach-Chicago in the Navy Reserves.

Most recently, she was editor of the Minnesota Real Estate Journal from November 2002 to March 2005. She also served as an associate editor of Midwest Real Estate News, and a staff writer at the Illinois Real Estate Journal. In addition to her extensive commercial real estate reporting experience, she has written for and edited business publications covering niches ranging from musical instrument retailing to firefighting.
