ADP, which signed a seven-year lease on the 13 Centennial Dr. property, selected the single-story building because it offered the firm a higher profile in an area where many of its employees live, Greg Klemmer, with Klemmer Associates, of Winchester, tells GlobeSt.com.
"It has a lot of presence to it, which is something they lacked in their old facility," he says, noting that the lease also will help the company expand by more than 70,000 sf over its previous location. The building, which formerly served as headquarters to shoemaker Saucony, recently underwent about $3 million in improvements, Klemmer notes.
Terms of the lease were not disclosed but space in Centennial Park generally rents in the $8 per sf range triple net, he adds. Klemmer along with colleague Tim Brodigan, handled the lease arrangements for the landlord, RFP Juniper Centennial LLC. ADP was represented by Catherine Thompson and Michael Zieja of Boston-based GVA Worldwide in cooperation with Michael Cohen and Scott Spolan of GVA Worldwide in New York City.
