The deal pushes the park's first building to 30% occupancy--and a step closer to a groundbreaking for a 90,776-sf second structure. Ben Hautt, a senior associate for Stream Realty Partners LP in Dallas, tells GlobeSt.com that Kimley Horn will open doors March 1 at 5750 Genesis Court.
Kimley Horn took the lion's share of the 40,000-sf building's second floor along with dibs on the balance of the 11-month-old shell space, developed by Brad Camp and Terry Lowrey with Creststone Development Co. of Dallas. Hautt says the marketing plan calls for building out 5,740 sf of spec suites on the first floor. The class A office space is quoted at $22 per sf to $23 per sf plus electric.
Hautt says Kimley Horn "evaluated everything there was to offer in Frisco." The dealmakers included access to the Dallas North Tollway, an office overlooking the future Grand Park and a building sign with freeway visibility.
Hautt teamed with Stream vice president Jeff Schweitzer and senior associate Heather Densmore to land the deal. James Walker of Advisors Group LLC in Raleigh is Kimley Horn's broker.
