FLEMINGTON, NJ-Work has started for Flemington Outlet Center, a four-building, 16,000-sf retail property here. The center is being developed by principals Larry LoVecchio and Lenny Turi of L&L Builders Corp., a Franklin Lakes-based homebuilder, and Robert Cronheim, president of the Chatham-based David Cronheim Co. The partners expect to have the four buildings, which range from 2,184 sf to 5,545 sf, ready for occupancy in the spring of 2007.
The new complex will be situated adjacent to Liberty Village and Turntable Junction, both well-established outlet centers in this Hunterdon County seat. Existing neighboring retail tenants in those properties include Anne Klein, Lancome, Nautica, Polo Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and J. Crew.
Cronheim has given the center's leasing assignment to the firm's executive vice president Peter Wisniewski and Chris Flammer, director of retail leasing. Target retailers are "high-end retail tenants," Wisniewski says.
The site, formerly owned by Hanini Enterprises, was acquired earlier this year by L&L Builders. Cronheim brokered that acquisition and subsequently became part of the development partnership.
