While financial information on the project at FM 518 and Texas288 could not be obtained, a spokeswoman for the Chattanooga, TNdeveloper tells GlobeSt.com that interest has been steady for the750,000-sf retail component. "Preleasing has been going very well,and there's been strong interest from retailers out there," shecomments. "We expect this to be one of the better projects we puttogether in terms of leasing."

Major tenants currently committed to the project include anchorsDillard's Inc. and Macy's, as well as Barnes & Noble Inc. Otherretailers and restaurants include Chico's, White House/BlackMarket, Ann Taylor LOFT, Coldwater Creek Inc., 346 Brooks Brothers,Paiva, Eddie Bauer Inc., Victoria's Secret Stores Inc., AmericanEagle Outfitters Inc., Aeropostale Inc., Buckle Inc., Finish LineInc., Forever 21 Inc., Hollister Inc., Pacific Sunwear ofCalifornia Inc. and Bath & Body Works Inc.

Additional center components will include 300,000 sf ofspecialty stores and restaurants, 300 residential units, 50,000 sfof office space and a 110-room Courtyard by Marriott. Thespokeswoman says CBL & Associates has not determined where themixed-use portion will be outsourced. Omniplan of Dallas is thearchitect for the project.
