ENCINO, CA-The industrial brokerage team of Christopher Jackson and Todd Lorber has joined NAI Capital in a move from Grubb & Ellis, along with Lenny Cohen, to specialize in North Los Angeles County and environs. The new NAI brokers will report into NAI Capital's Santa Clarita-based office, but will operate out of the firm's Encino headquarters.

Jackson joins the company as a senior vice president, bringing more than nine years of brokerage and investment services experience. For the past eight years, he served as a vice president specializing in industrial real estate at Grubb & Ellis. Before that, Jackson spent a brief stint at CB Richard Ellis in the industrial division before joining Grubb & Ellis in 1998.

Lorber also joins NAI Capital as a senior vice president specializing in industrial and investment services, bringing with him more than 19 years of commercial real estate experience. At Grubb & Ellis, he specialized in the leasing and sales of industrial/R&D product in both user and investor arenas.

Lorber, who has focused on the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, also has significant development and product repositioning experience. Cohen joins Jackson and Lorber as a senior associate after spending one year at Grubb & Ellis.

NAI Capital's LA North office opened in January last year with co-managers Bert Abel and John Cserkuti, also previously from Grubb & Ellis, leading the branch. The office has since grown to 16 brokerage professionals.
