The Mediterranean development, designed by Miami-based MSA Architects Inc., will include 140 three-story townhomes and 32 two-story single-family homes. The townhomes will range in size from 2,250 sf to 2,950 sf and the single-family homes will range in size from 3,400 sf to 3,900 sf. Prices range from $600,000s to $1.4 million. Site clearing is under way and the sales center will open in March.
The project is located along the 27-acre shoreline of Blue Lake adjacent to the 78-acre Pondhawk Nature Preserve, a planned county-owned nature preserve with restored wetlands and an overlook shelter and close to Broken Sound Golf Club. A pedestrian esplanade along the lakefront will link to a new walkway leading to a new library, the planned Countess de Hoernle Park and the nature trails within the Pondhawk Natural Area. The project is also close to the Shoppes at Blue Lake shopping plaza and within a short drive to Mizner Park, Town Center and Royal Palm Plaza.
This is the first residential project in Boca Raton for Stiles. "What is unique about this site is that the property is ensconced in the splendors of nature without being removed from the center of the city," says Stiles Corp. chairman and CEO Terry Stiles.
