This is the largest single project Parsippany-based Skanska USAhas ever undertaken. Previous notable projects include ReliantStadium in Houston and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. Skanska isalso part of the team constructing the new stadium for the YankeeStadium.

The 82,000-seat stadium is about 175,000 square meters (about1.9 million sf), and will include 217 luxury suites. Skanska USAwill subcontract out the steel works to Skanska USA Civil for $150million.

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority approved theground lease for the new stadium a month ago, as reported byGlobeSt.com.The stadium is scheduled to be open in time for the 2010 footballseason.
