EDISON, NJ-JG Petrucci Co., an Asbury-based developer andconstruction firm, is set to launch construction in June for its570,000-sf Middlesex Logistics Center here. The project, which isbeing done on a speculative basis, is slated to rise near Exit 10of the New Jersey Turnpike.

"Our confidence in the local market was the key to our decisionto build on spec," says Greg Rogerson, a principal of JG Petrucci.Middlesex Logistics Center is one of the largest spec distributionfacilities under way north of Exit 8A of the Turnpike, Rogersonsays. The site is about 19 miles from the Port of Newark/Elizabethand 30 miles from New York City, and corporate neighbors includeFedEx, John Wiley & Sons and National Freight Industries.
