Jackson Healthcare Solutions, which provides clinician staffing, anesthesia management and information technology solutions, expects the new building to accommodate anticipated growth from 250 local employees to more than 700 in the next seven years. The project cost was not released.
Jackson Healthcare was represented by Steve Schwartz of Corporate Property Advisors in the transaction. Duke Realty was represented by vice president of leasing Chandler Spratlin. The general contractor on the job is Duke Construction and the architect is Kohl-Gramigna-Monardo Architects.
"This project is a great fit for the NorthWinds Center," Spratlin tells GlobeSt.com. "From Jackson Healthcare's perspective, they liked the amenities of the park and the location. There will be visibility from Georgia State Road 400."
Duke acquired NorthWinds Center, which is a 258-acre, seven-building office and retail complex containing 1.1 million sf of office space, in 2004. The complex contains 10 restaurants, two hotels, three banks, two fitness centers and six conference facilities. It also has a 4.5-acre development site and a 24-acre mixed use site co-owned by Duke and Pope & Land Enterprises.
"Duke not only offered the best location for this critical development in the life of our company, but also provided every service we needed--from design and construction to leasing and management," says R. Shane Jackson of Jackson Healthcare.
