The project has not yet been named, but it will include 104 townhomes and lofts, 45,000 sf of retail space, 142,000 sf of class A office space and a hotel. The size of the hotel has not yet been determined. Sales are expected to start in the spring with groundbreaking anticipated by the end of the year, Sky Development Inc. CEO Yizhak Toledano tells GlobeSt.com.
The site, on Biscayne Boulevard and Waterways Boulevard at NE 207th Street, is the biggest site available for development in Aventura. "Our vision is to create a landmark development that offers residents a true live, work, play lifestyle," says Toledano. "It will be true mixed-use project."
The project is expected to be completed 24 months after groundbreaking. Sky Development is in negotiations with several hotel operators, but an agreement has not yet been reached. Pricing information for the residential units has not yet been established, Toledano says.
