Prices for the retail space will range from $220 to $240 per sf. Prices for the office space will start at $264,900 for a 2,400-sf space. Business Condos USA president Larry Walshaw tells GlobeSt.com that the project is currently in the permitting phase with groundbreaking anticipated in early summer and completion expected in early 2008.
"Our Mayfield project will be located on a highly coveted corner, just north of a new Wal-Mart and the Home Depot," Walshaw says. "This is the new hot market with all the new homes being built in the area."
Traffic counts on the part of Blanding Boulevard where the project will be located are 48,000 cars per day, and on Old Jennings Road the counts are 3,000 per day. "When Old Jennings Road changes to CR 209 at the end of 2007, it will open as a four-lane corridor to Green Cove Springs," Walshaw says. "We estimate that traffic counts will increase substantially placing Mayfield in a prime Clay County location."
