ATLANTA-Charlotte, NC-based Columbus Nova Real Estate Acquisition Group and the Real Estate Equity Fund have acquired 13-16 Overmyer Way. The four-building, 241,000-sf distribution facility traded for $9.5 million.

The seller was Southeast Management Co. Buddy Hill, of Grubb & Ellis, and Rick Tumlin, of Bryant Commercial Real Estate, represented the seller. Tom Ellis, of Atlanta South Commercial Properties, represented the buyer. Hill, Tumlin and Ellis will also be handling leasing for the property.

The transaction represents the first in Columbus Nova's expanded value-added platform, which focuses on acquiring vacancy in major metropolitan markets. The property has 121,000 sf available for lease. Current tenants include Gemaire, a subsidiary of Watsco Inc.; Atlanta Storage and Leggett and Platt.
