Units will range in size from 1,650 to 23,500 sf and prices will start at $495,000. Units will also be available for lease. The parking space ratio will be 5.5 spaces per 1,000 sf.
The building will be located south of Celebration Health-Florida Hospital and immediately off the Exit 62 interchange of Interstate 4. "We were surprised by the immediate positive response from the medical community in Orlando and its outlying areas," says the Shermen Group managing partner Francis Jenkins. "We think that the overall quality of the asset and its location in Celebration will play a major role in drawing interest to our facility."
The project is being designed by New York City-based Cooper Robertson & Partners, one of the master planners of Celebration. The general contractor is Baltimore-based Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. "Our facility is designed with the medical community in mind," Jenkins says.
