Joines will team with Gary Lee and Andrew Murphy, who established the company's Private Capital Investment Property group in December 2005. The team has more than 20 years experience and has been involved in real estate transactions valued at more than $1 billion. Joines' role will be to facilitate the team's expansion within the private capital markets arena. "We are very excited to have Mark join our team," senior vice president Gary Lee says. Rodrigues is responsible for client relations, account oversight and operational performance for a 7.5-million-sf portfolio. Her clients include AT&T, Kennesaw State University Foundation, Kimberly-Clark Corp., Post Properties and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. "Dena's primary focus will be on adding value to the properties in her portfolio," says executive vice president of property and facility management Holly Hughes. "We are thrilled to have Dena join our team as she has the experience and capability to consistently deliver results for our clients."

Joines was most recently employed by TriMont Real Estate Advisors where he managed and served commercial real estate investments throughout Europe, the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Carter, Rodrigues served as a vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly Equity Office Properties) where she managed a portfolio of three million sf of commercial office space.
