For the 14-week fourth quarter, total revenues rose 22.1% morethan the previous year to $23.4 million. Same-store sales for the14-week quarter rose 17.5% from the same period in the previousyear. Based on a 13-week comparison, the company's consolidatedsame-store sales were up 9.4%. Net income was $1.5 million,compared with earnings of $308,000 for the prior-year period.

For the 53-week fiscal year, total revenues were $80.7 million,up 14.1% from the previous, 52-week year. Same-store sales for thecompany's 53-week fiscal year increased 10.1%. Based on a 52-weekcomparison, the company's consolidated same-store sales rose 7.9%for the year. Net income applicable to common stock was $3.0million, compared with net income of $889,000 the previous year."Consistently throughout the year, we delivered strong sales trendsin an economic environment that proved to be challenging for manyof our industry peers," Gay said.
