ATLANTA-Locally based firms Weaver & Woodbery and Nickol Commercial have formed Lakebridge Partners LLC, a joint venture partnership to develop and acquire industrial real estate in the Southeast.

The new company will be run by the partnership's newest partner, Kristy Williams. Williams was formerly with GVA Advantis, where she managed corporate service accounts. She also has extensive experience in developing industrial business parks while she was with Republic Property Co. and Seefried Properties.

"Kristy is coming in at a great time of growth for our companies and her ability to jump right in and take over some of our new projects will be great," says Jay Weaver, of Weaver & Woodbery. "She is a great asset to Lakebridge and will be a critical part of our success and continued growth."

Weaver & Woodbery and Nickol Commercial have acquired more than 1.5 million sf over the past 24 months and currently have several new projects in the works in Atlanta and the Southeast. "The new company will allows us to brand our joint venture success a little bit and to allow us to stop putting so many logos on our signs," Jeff Nickol, of Nickol Commercial. "We have a couple of new ground-up development projects in the works and Kristy will oversee these for us."
