TAMPA, FL-Sacramento-based Panattoni Development Co. has signed its first lease within the Crossroads Business Center on Currie Davis Road. Lagasse Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Deerfield, IL-based United Stationers Supply Co., will occupy 149,705 sf of a 169,217-sf distribution facility.

The building is the first phase of the two-phase Crossroads Business Center project, which is expected to begin construction in May. When completed, the business center will have 270,000 sf.

Lagasse is a national wholesaler of janitorial and food service products with 31 distribution centers across the US which has maintained distribution operations in Tampa for more than 35 years. The company's current Tampa location is 1433 Massaro Blvd. It also has Florida locations in Orlando and Miami. The company is expected to move into the new facility in the fall.

"The five-year lease reflects our company's continued support and growth in the Tampa market," says Lagasse director of logistics Kirk Wesson.

Trevor Ragsdale and Brent Miller, of the Staubach Co., negotiated on behalf of Lagasse. Robert Dikman, of the Dikman Co., represented Panattoni. Panattoni Construction Inc. is the general contractor for the project and C4 Architecture and EMK Consulting Services provided design services for the project.
