BUFORD, GA-Food processing equipment company MP Equipment Co. Inc. has leased 30,000 sf at Hamilton Mill Business Center. The company will occupy Hamilton Mill Building B.

The majority of the space will be used for distribution and light assembly with 8,727 sf to be used for office space. MP Equipment will move from its existing headquarters in Suwanee to Hamilton Mill Business Center, which is about five miles north of the former location.

Steve Taylor, of the Taylor Co., represented MP Equipment. IDI vice president of leasing Lisa Ward represented IDI. "The Hamilton Mill Business Center location moves MP Equipment closer to its primary customer base in Gainesville, GA," Ward says. "Building B provides the company a state-of-the-art distribution facility with strong curb appeal, and a convenient location near Interstate 985 and Interstate 85 that has far less traffic congestion than MP Equipment's existing location."

With the lease, the 131,042-sf Building B is 100% leased. Among other tenants in the building are the RiteScreen Co., which occupies 40,187 sf and Therapak Corp., which occupies 30,334 sf.

Hamilton Mill Business Center is a class A master-planned business park located in the Northeast/Interstate 85 corridor. IDI plans to develop up to 13 buildings with a total of four million sf. Aside from Building B, the park contains the 870,480-sf bulk Building I, the 303,815-sf distribution Building D and the 209,000-sf distribution Building A. Office Depot currently occupies the entire 550,000-sf Building H and Global Equipment Co. occupies the entire 647,228-sf Building M.
