Revere Golf Club is located within the Sun City Anthem master-planned community located 20 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip. It consists of two, 18-hole championship golf courses and a 23,000-sf clubhouse. Golf Digest's lists the Revere as one of its "Best Places to Play."
The broker in the deal, Todd Ratliff of Hodges Ward Elliott's Golf Division, says the two relatively new courses attracted more than 80,000 rounds in 2006. "The barriers to new competition, especially this close to The Strip, make The Revere an especially attractive investment," he says.
CORE Realty Holdings LLC and its affiliates own and professionally manage more than 10.6 million sf of commercial real estate for its owners and investors. CORE vice chairman Doug Morehead says the Revere acquisition is the first of what he hopes will be a number of golf-related property acquisitions as it looks for alternatives to its current portfolio of multifamily, commercial, retail and industrial investments.
