"Larry Tannenbaum was our ideal choice of a leader to add to our New York team," says Peter Riguardi, president of JLL's New York region. "His experience ranges from negotiating intricate office space deals for some of the most recognized names in business to overseeing the needs of a large portfolio of commercial real estate for ownership interests. Larry's breadth of expertise will be key to serving our Midtown and Downtown clients effectively." C&W did not return a request for comment.

A 30-year veteran, Tannenbaum will be responsible for managing existing relationships and new opportunities as a managing director. While at C&W he was in charge of Olympia & York's 19-million Downtown portfolio. He has also been the lead broker on a number of significant transactions, with a client roster that includes Merrill Lynch & Co., Goldman Sachs Group, Bank of America, AIG and AOL Time Warner. He has been the lead broker on a total of 10 million sf of tenant rep assignments and 25 million sf of agency assignments.

Moxley, now an executive vice president, was previously a senior director at C&W. Prior to his stint there, he worked at Jones Lang Wootton USA, compiling 25 years of industry experience.

Pennington who was named a senior vice president at JLL, previously worked for C&W, developing new opportunities and providing existing clients with representation services. Before that he was a financial analyst with WF Realty.

JLL's hire of these three industry experts, especially Tannenbaum who has extensive industry experience, comes at an interesting time in the company's history. JLL has been steadily growing lately, having hired the Quinn team from the former Trammell Crow Co. at the beginning of April. A new head of international business for the tri-state region also came on board in March. Additionally the company is currently on the hunt for a new location for Merrill Lynch, which happens to be a former Tannenbaum client.
