The Spring Garden property is a former Smith Klinepharmaceutical plant that was acquired by locally based AmerimarEnterprises in 2000 and subsequently converted to a class Afacility with redundant technological capabilities. Amerimarcontinues to operate the building, and Andrew Bleznak, a member ofthe owner-partnership, previously told GlobeSt.com the renovationexceeded $100 million.

Day & Zimmerman joins CBS3, which is the local CBStelevision affiliate; North American Publishing Co., andIndependence Blue Cross and takes occupancy to 70%, according toBleznak. He declined to disclose the value of the lease, but tellsGlobeSt.com that Day & Zimmerman not only saves money with themove, but also "can stack space in a more flexible and efficientmanner."

Construction of the new Day & Zimmerman space, which spansfour floors, is slated for this July. In a statement, Hal Yoh,president and CEO, says the move provides "the opportunity todesign modern, innovative offices" that reflect the company's"forward-thinking business focus." The space will include computertraining rooms, video conferencing capabilities and other advancedtechnologies for the company, is one of the country's largestprivately held companies with 150 locations worldwide.
