PALM BAY, FL-Aventura-based Sky Development Inc. plans to begin construction this summer on Villas at Palma Bella, a 40-unit townhome development on 3.6 acres at 2100 Forest Knoll Dr. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2008.
The two- and three-bedroom units will range in size from 1,500 sf to 1,700 sf. The project will comprise four buildings. "As the first of what we hope will be many projects in the area, Villas at Palma Bella represents an opportunity to gauge the affordably priced home market," says Sky Development founder and CEO Yizhak Toledano.
The architects on the project are Miami-based Sotolongo Salman Henderson Architects. "The color scheme includes terracotta and ochre with green color accents," says Sotolongo Salman Henderson Architects principal Raul Sotolongo. "As a two-story development, Villas at Palma Bella should blend in well in scale with the surrounding area."
Centrally located between Jacksonville and Miami, Palm Bay is located just south of Melbourne. Among area attractions are the Brevard Zoo, Kennedy Space Center and Turkey Creek Sanctuary. Also located in the area are Holmes Regional Medical Center, Palm Bay Community Hospital, Brevard Community College, University of Central Florida and Barry University.
