"The facility is located along the New Jersey Turnpike distribution corridor, one of the country's most dynamic distribution markets," says Jaime Weiss, president of Weiss Realty. "It has excellent highway access to the New York metro area and Port Newark."

The building is situated on 6.7 acres directly across the New Jersey Turnpike from the Secaucus Transfer Station rail hub at the Turnpike's new Exit 15X interchange. "It is a unique site for a warehouse property," Jerry Gottesman, chairman of Edison Properties, tells GlobeSt.com. "It can accommodate an operation with a lot of people, and it's the property closest to the train station."

Built in 1965, the facility includes more than 3,000 sf of built-out office space and has a 26-foot, 8-inch clear ceiling height. It was occupied for many years by Veeco Services Inc., a warehousing and transportation concern that has relocated to larger quarters in nearby North Bergen. The property is currently listed with an asking rental price of $5.75 per sf.
