The proposed development, which will include approximately 1.1 million sf of class A office, technology and research space, will be anchored by the University of Florida's Research Education & Engineering Facility. It will be supported by undergraduate and graduate level research and training facilities, student housing and amenities such as a conference center with hotel, health wellness center, extended stay hotel, restaurant, child development center and space for an Okaloosa County EDC incubator project.
Hunt Development Group is led by president Gary Sapp and Dick Corp is led by co-chairmen David Dick and Douglas Dick. Neither company could be reached for comment by GlobeSt.com.
The joint venture is known as Eglin Properties LLC. Development and management services will be provided by Landings Real Estate Group and design services will be provided by Laurel, MD-based Greenhorne & O'Mara and Pensacola-based Bullock Tice Associates, which are currently designing the University of Florida's Research Education & Engineering Facility.
