Morrison was with GVA for six years, while Zinaich, who was formerly director of office services, and Vetter, who was production associate, were with the company for three years. "Avantis is an excellent company and I have enjoyed working with their team," Morrison says, about his decision to leave the company. "My decision to leave is solely based on the fact that I have always had the desire to have my own company and I think now is the right time."
Morrison Commercial Real Estate has an office in Downtown Orlando at the Citrus Center at 255 S. Orange Ave. Morrison estimates that the company will be responsible for leasing approximately 1.2 million sf of office and flex space upon opening.
"I see the opportunity for a boutique brokerage to excel in this market, as today's advanced technology allows me to deliver the same level of service as a large corporate firm," Morrison says.
