LAS VEGAS-The regional development firm LaPour received itsbuilding permit this week for what it hopes will be one of the LasVegas Valley's first certified "green" suburban office buildings.The three-story, 70,000-sf office building will rise on four acresadjacent to the southbound off ramp to Russell Road (Exit 19) fromInterstate 205 in the southwest submarket. The total developmentcost is estimated at $19 million.

Dubbed LaPour Corporate Center, the multi-tenant, for-leaseproject will have 22,000-sf floor plates divisible to 3,000 sf. Thebuilding is approximately 15% preleased, with LaPour itself havingcommitted to lease 5,500 sf for its corporate headquarters and atitle company signed up for another 4,000 sf.
