The eight-acre, 800,000-sf Streets of Buckhead project is beingdeveloped by locally based Ben Carter Properties. The overallproject bordered by Pharr Road to the south, Peachtree Road to thewest, East Paces Ferry Road to the north and North Fulton Avenue tothe east will include 500,000 sf of retail and restaurant space,four hotels, up to 1,000 residential units and more than 300,000 sfof class A office space. The project broke ground last week andsome of the buildings on the existing site have already beendemolished, Barry Hotel Partners executive director Butch Rosstells GlobeSt.com.
