GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-WGI Innovations LTD., the real estate arm for Remington Wildlife Feeders, has added 50,516 sf to its bottom line in the Great Southwest Industrial District. The add-on's term is co-terminus to an in-place 105,295-sf, stair-stepped pact inked last October for its move-in.
Remington Wildlife Feeders grabbed the extra room at 602 Fountain Pkwy. in a three-week round of talks with the build owner's broker, David R. Dunn, head of the Sperry Van Ness/Dunn Commercial office in Arlington. He tells GlobeSt.com that Remington Feeders was exercising a right of first refusal in its long-term lease for the 300,000-sf office/warehouse, owned by Fountain Parkway Ltd. of Dallas. And, the Texas Hill Country native is eyeing the last 75,233 sf in the structure although it's still being marketed for $2.50 per sf gross, he adds.
According to Dunn, the tenant took down the extra room after buying a cross-bow company in Florida. The Great Southwest space is used for its headquarters team plus assembly, light manufacturing and distribution. Its customer roster includes Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Cabela's Inc., Bass Pro Shops Inc. and Academy Sports & Outdoors.
