The properties include the four-story, 129,982-sf ResearchCommons office building at 12249 Science Dr.; the two-story,83,454-sf University TechCenter flex office buildings at 12501 and12565 Research Parkway; and the two-story, 58,765-sf TechnologyPoint I and II office buildings at 3045 and 3051 TechnologyParkway. The Research Commons building was constructed in 1989, theTechCenter office buildings in 1998, Technology Point I in 1986 andTechnology Point II in 1989.

The seller was represented by Ron Rogg, of CB Richard Ellis, andJeff McFadden and Heidi Adams, of McFadden Realty Advisors,Inc.

Despite the sale, Taurus will continue to expand its holdings inthe Central Florida Research Park and develop the 593-acre BeltwayCommerce Center near Orlando International Airport. The company isplanning to construct the four-building, 300,000-sf ChallengerSouth flex tech project and recently designed a two-phase,125,000-sf Discovery TechCenter II complex in the research park.The company plans to begin construction soon on the 75,000-sf PhaseIII of Challenger South and the 62,500-sf Building 1 of DiscoveryTechCenter II.
