CHICAGO-Equity Residential CFO and EVP Donna Brandin isresigning effective Sept. 14. Brandin, 49, "is resigning in orderto pursue other professional and personal interests, not as aresult of any disagreement with the company regarding financial oraccounting practices," according to a released statement from thelocally based company. Representatives from Equity Residential didnot return several phone calls seeking comment. John Lennox, asenior vice president with the company, will serve as interim chieffinancial officer.

Brandin reached her last post with the company in August 2004when David Neithercut was promoted to EVP of corporate strategy, asreported by GlobeSt.com. Neithercut is currently the company'spresident and CEO. Billionaire investor Sam Zell is chairman of thecompany's board of trustees.
