Hemingway tells GlobeSt.com that the merger will allow him to expand his appraisal business, while also allowing Michael Cannon to better focus on his business, which is providing specialty and legal consulting services. "It turned out to be a great fit for both of us," Hemingway says.
[IMGCAP(2)]With the merger, Integra Realty Resources-Miami has about 24 employees and will focus on all property types within South Florida. "Bill and Greg will expand Integra-Miami's general valuation and consulting practice," says Michael Cannon. "They are a perfect complement to my specialty practice."
Hemingway has more than 22 years of primary commercial appraisal experience and formerly served as vice president of American Ventures Realty Investors and director of research for its Real Data Information Systems, Inc. He has also served as a senior commercial appraiser with CB Richard Ellis.
Gunter has more than 21 years experience in real estate valuation and consulting of institutional and non-institutional grade properties for financing, estate, eminent domain and other purposes. Prior to forming Hemingway & Gunter Commercial Group, he served as assistant vice president of the valuation and advisory services division of CB Richard Ellis.
Integra made news during the summer when formed a partnership with principals in Dallas/Fort Worth, Coastal New Jersey and Detroit, as GlobeSt.com previously reported.
