Plus One Maps Eco-Friendly Path for Wellness Programs

Using the approach that it employed on the employee wellness facility for the Heart Tower at 300 W. 57th St., Plus One Health Management Inc. has launched ECOfitness, a program intended to green the design, development and management of corporate fitness centers.

According to Plus One, the program aims to ensure that energy conservation and the use of eco-friendly products play an integral part in the overall fitness center project. Elements of ECOfitness can include the use of self-powered exercise equipment that reduces the need for electricity, as well as the installation of flooring and lockers made of recycled materials.For more information on the program, visit www.plusone.com.
